There are self-serve coin operated laundry machines available 24 hours located on the ground floor of the hotel so you can keep your clothes clean. Your mom will be happy!
Kitchen
If you prefer to cook your own meals we have renovated kitchen space with stove, fridge, eating area (with cable television) and personal storage cupboards for your food. Bon Appetit!
Washrooms
Global Village Backpackers offers has recently renovated male and female washrooms complete with showers, toilets and sinks. The women’s washrooms also include extra amenities including large mirrors and unique decor. Our washroom facilities are cleaned professionally everyday!
Security
Toronto is one of the safest cities in the world, but we have made the hotel even more secure with closed circuit television, key-card secure door locks, 24 hour on-site staffing and more. The hotel is also completely updated to meet all local fire codes and regulations.
Common Areas
A great common area is what makes or breaks a backpackers hostel and Global Village Backpackers has space for you to read, relax with your laptop, have a game of pool or chat with friends. Our large outdoor patio is perfect on sunny day when you can watch the locals shop or take in some sun. Oh yes and free wireless is available everywhere!
Lockers and Storage
We have lockers and longer term storage space for your gear so you can store your bags safely and walk around the city.
Food and Drink
Our in house bar is an awesome place to share a drink and your backpacking stories with your fellow travelers and local Torontonians. Check out The Departure Lounge for weekly specials and events.
